This is the new condo building where I bought a 1bedroom/1bath unit. Dude, I got this thing for just $280,000! That's a bargain in the Bay Area!

Well, I just closed on my first piece of real estate. This actually happened on September 23. My place is located on Telegraph Avenue and 24th Street in downtown Oakland. I hoping to rent out the unit, which is entirely brand new. The whole building is brand spankin' new. It's actually part of a pioneering effort to redevelop downtown Oakland. The Oakland City Council recenlty approved a policy to pour $61 million into that area to redevelop the area and turn it into a popular commercial and residential area. Here's some pictures of my gig. If you know anyone (or a couple) interested in renting it, give me a ring at 4-1-5-2-4-0-3-1-1-3.
